Dr. Mehmet Uzumcu presents at PDD2025

This years Pulmonary Drug Delivery Conference (PDD2025) will take place in Istanbul from Wednesday June 11th – Friday June 13th. PDD connects academia and industry leaders and brings together participants from Western and Eastern Europe as well as Asia and Africa to discuss developments with inhalation drugs.

We are excited to announce that our Chief Scientific & Technology Officer Dr. Mehmet Uzumcu will be presenting at the conference on June 11th. The title of the presentation is: ‘Facilitating a High and Targeted Lung Dose by Electrohydrodynamic Atomization in a Smart Precision Inhaler’.

In his presentation, Dr. Uzumcu will elaborate on the importance of targeted drug delivery to the lungs and the relevance of a tuneable and monodisperse droplet size and size distribution. Furthermore, he will explain how Gilbert can achieve this in their disruptive smart inhaler device based on the proprietary electrospray technology.
